Get to know our keynote speaker Ludwine Probst.

Could you briefly introduce yourself?
I’m Ludwine, a Data Engineer working at Cityzen Data. I am deeply involved in the community with the Duchess France, an association to promote women developers, to inspire and encourage them to speak at conferences or technical events.

How did you get started with developing software?
After a Master’s degree in Mathematics, I unexpectedly joined the IT world as a software engineer. So I learned on the job by attending online courses and technical events organized in Paris.

Which in-depth information is your talk going to provide?
Time Series and how to collect, analyze and process them.

What was the first Apache project you got in touch with?
Hadoop.

Anything you are planning to hack on during Berlin Buzzwords?
Maybe try some stuff with Spark and Machine Learning.

What's your favourite beer?
Adelscott, a beer with whisky.

Have you been to Berlin before?
Yes I have been twice in Berlin. And I really enjoyed the Berlinische Galerie where I fell in love with the paintings of George Grosz.
